About GGD IJsselland
GGD IJsselland streeft naar vitale inwoners in een gezonde leefomgeving. Dit doen we door het uitvoeren van onderzoek, het signaleren van gezondheidsrisico’s, het adviseren van gemeenten en inwoners, het bevorderen van gezond gedrag en het bieden van een vangnet voor mensen die (tijdelijk) niet zelfredzaam zijn. Zo vergroten we gelijke kansen op een gezond leven. We werken voor én met de elf gemeenten in IJsselland en samen met diverse organisaties: voor een gezonde samenleving. Positieve gezondheid is ons uitgangspunt. Dit betekent dat we gezondheid zien als het vermogen je aan te passen en eigen regie te voeren in het licht van fysieke, emotionele en sociale uitdagingen in het leven. Gezondheid is een belangrijke voorwaarde om te kunnen meedoen in de maatschappij
