About Girls Going Global

Girls Going Global is a global education and leadership development organization expanding access to the world for girls from underrepresented communities. Founded in 2012, Girls Going Global was built on a simple belief: the world can be one of a young person’s greatest classrooms. We create educational experiences that develop the knowledge, confidence, cultural awareness, and leadership skills girls need to see themselves as active participants in an interconnected world. Our Programs Passport to the World Our domestic global education program introduces girls to global citizenship and global competencies through curriculum, workshops, cultural experiences, career exposure, and hands on learning. Girls learn to investigate the world, recognize different perspectives, communicate across cultures, and take action. International Travel Camps Our signature travel immersion experiences bring learning to life through cultural immersion, leadership development, service learning, career exposure, education, and sisterhood in countries around the world. Custom Experiences and Partnerships We work with schools, corporations, nonprofits, membership organizations, associations, and other groups to design customized domestic and international experiences aligned with their goals and audiences. From global education workshops to international travel immersions, we create experiences that combine education, culture, connection, and exploration. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Our work has been supported through collaborations with organizations including Expedia, Delta Air Lines, Google, United Way of Greater Atlanta, CARE, and others. Our vision is a world where every girl has access to experiences that broaden her understanding of the world, expand what she believes is possible, and prepare her to positively impact it.
