About Global Cyber Talent Initiative
The Global Cyber Talent Initiative (GCTI) is a 12-month, industry-aligned cybersecurity development programme designed for people who are serious about building a career in cybersecurity — regardless of their background. Most training programmes teach theory. GCTI builds professionals. Through four structured phases — Foundation, Applied Skills, Project & Collaboration, and Professional Readiness — participants develop the technical execution, reliability, communication, and security mindset that employers actually look for when hiring. What makes GCTI different is transparency. Every participant is assessed across four dimensions and placed within a performance tier — Bronze through to Platinum — giving employers a clear, evidence-based picture of each graduate's readiness before they commit to hiring. No guesswork. No generic CVs. Just verified, ranked talent. GCTI accepts applicants from the age of 17 upwards. No IT background is required — just commitment and a willingness to do the work. The programme includes hands-on labs, real-world scenario exercises, mentorship, and direct employer connections. GCTI is an initiative of Prefort Consult Limited, a UK-based cybersecurity consultancy and training specialist recognised as Cybersecurity Company of the Year at the 2024 Innovation and Excellence Awards. Applications for the September 2026 cohort are now open. 📩 applications@globalcybertalent.com 🌐 www.globalcybertalent.org
