About Gloucester City Homes
Housing Heroes 'Employer of the Year' and Gloucestershire Live 'Best Place to Work' - 2023! Gloucester City Homes is an independent Housing Association with deep roots in the City of Gloucester, going back over 100 years. As a social business, we're committed to investing locally, creating jobs and opportunities and working with partners and community organisations to support people in the greatest need, including those in need of a home and those who find themselves homeless. All GCH homes meet the Government’s decent homes standard and we have a 30 year financial business plan to deliver around £250 million investment in our existing and new homes. Every one of us, regardless of our circumstances and situation, deserves a place we can be proud to call home, a home we can afford to heat, where we feel safe and where we can put down roots and live our best lives. That’s why we're passionate about our role in tackling the housing crisis, bringing quality, affordable new homes in and around Gloucester. Highly valued and trusted by our tenants, we're also recognised as being a great employer through independent accreditation including being Gloucestershire Live 2023 ‘Best Place to Work in Gloucestershire’. Our Board, Committees and Leadership Group are focused on continually improving our services to achieve strong outcomes for our customers, improving their homes and making communities better places to live.
