About NSF I-Corps Hub Great Plains

Our goal is to connect the entrepreneurial spirit of the Great Plains with the national technology ecosystem by training, expansion, and research evaluation. And, to develop the technical leaders of tomorrow by providing the skills, network, and entrepreneurial mindset needed to pursue their future path. The Great Plains I-Corps Hub partners with 8 universities in the region to cultivate entrepreneurship by providing educational programs designed to train researchers to extend their focus beyond the laboratory and accelerate the transfer of cutting-edge research into commercial success. The National Science Foundation Innovation Corps (I-Corps™) program is an immersive, entrepreneurial training program that facilitates the transformation of invention to impact. I-Corps prepares researchers to extend their focus beyond the laboratory to increase the economic and societal impact of NSF-funded and other basic research projects.
