About Great Yellow
Great Yellow’s mission is to make landscape regeneration investable and scalable. Founded in 2023, we work with leading nature recovery projects to unlock long-term value for land, investors, and the economy. Great Yellow brings together coordinated project delivery, structured capital investment, and dependable routes to market within an ecosystem that connects best-in-class solutions across capital, trade, data and modelling, and project management. Through our end-to-end offering, we redirect corporate and financial resources to accelerate regeneration across entire landscapes, while helping organisations build resilience, manage climate and nature risk, and engage with natural capital markets with confidence. --- Why the name 'Great Yellow'? The Great Yellow bumblebee, was once widespread across the UK. Today, it survives only in the wildest corners of the country, where rich wildflower habitats remain. Like all bumblebees and pollinators, the Great Yellow is critical to the life and health of its environment. It may be small and vulnerable, yet it is the backbone of life in its surroundings. When these species decline, the effects ripple through entire ecosystems, affecting our our food, water, climate, and quality of life. Our namesake reminds us that we are part of a living system, and that restoring nature is inseparable from restoring resilience, wellbeing, and long-term prosperity. Great Yellow Ltd draws inspiration from this remarkable creature, demonstrating that thriving natural systems are more valuable than degraded ones.
