About Greenference

Greenference is building green, sovereign, and secure AI inference infrastructure in Europe. AI adoption is accelerating, but the infrastructure behind it is facing major constraints: limited grid capacity, long connection queues, high energy demand, rising compute costs, and growing concerns around data sovereignty and security. Greenference was created to address these challenges from the ground up. We develop modular, off-grid AI data centers powered by 100% renewable energy. By combining renewable power generation, energy storage, high-density data center design, and AI inference infrastructure, we aim to deliver scalable compute capacity without depending on congested grid connections or traditional multi-year data center development timelines. Our focus is inference: the part of AI infrastructure where enterprises, startups, public organizations, and developers need reliable, cost-efficient, and secure compute to run AI models at scale. Greenference is designed for customers that require European infrastructure, strong data protection, predictable performance, and lower environmental impact. We are building infrastructure that is faster to deploy, more energy-conscious, and aligned with Europe’s need for digital sovereignty. Our approach brings together clean power, modular deployment, secure operations, and flexible AI compute services.
