GFDG is a multi-faceted business, controlling Grimsby Fish Market, Port of Grimsby East, Grimsby Shipyard Services and Offshore Training Centre Grimsby. The wholesale shout auction is an iconic element of the town's globally-recognised fish trade, and the first port on the Humber was the proud launchpad for offshore wind operations and maintenance in the region, and has been providing berths, facilities and services for two decades now. At the heart of the dock is our vessel lifting and laydown provision, with a 200t hoist the centrepiece. Crews are looked after too, with internationally accredited training on quayside infrastructure replicating that of the near North Sea. We also have property and land with tenants enjoying offices, storage, processing facilities and logistics bases in a hub for the town's two great industries.
