GUTAPERKA takes its name from gutta-percha, a natural material once prized for its flexibility and insulating strength. It was discovered in 1843 by a Singapore-based surgeon, William Montgomerie, who realized that the milky latex used by local craftsmen could be molded when warm and hardened when cool: a natural polymer centuries ahead of its time. It symbolizes what the company stands for: connecting, protecting, and structuring complex systems so ideas can flow and perform.
