Every day, millions of public servants repair roads, protect drinking water, respond to emergencies, maintain parks, support local businesses, and strengthen the communities we call home. Yet their stories are rarely told. 𝗛𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗪𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗲𝘅𝗶𝘀𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁. We are a storytelling platform dedicated to celebrating the people, leadership, and purpose behind local government. Through podcasts, documentary filmmaking, digital media, keynote speaking, and the nationwide HaltingWinter Tour, we shine a spotlight on the public servants who make our communities stronger while inspiring the next generation to see local government as a meaningful and impactful career. We believe stories have the power to strengthen an entire profession. When public servants feel seen, they lead with greater purpose. When communities better understand the work happening around them, trust grows. When students discover the impact local government has on everyday life, they begin to see public service as a calling worth pursuing.
