HampTex Capital Partners
Principal advisory firm for executives, allocators, and technology leaders navigating the AI infrastructure era.
About HampTex Capital Partners
HampTex Capital Partners is an advisory and execution firm for AI data center development. The firm operates as a senior team extension to customer executive teams across the entire development lifecycle, from land acquisition through deployment. The AI buildout has created a structural gap between announced capacity and energized capacity. Power, permitting, capital, supply chains, community, and technology obsolescence each carry the potential to strand a project, and they compound. HampTex exists to help the parties shaping the U.S. buildout, developers, hyperscalers and cloud service providers, and infrastructure investors, see those risks clearly and execute against them. The firm's work rests on three principles: Independence is institutional. HampTex's analytical conclusions are grounded in evidence and methodology, not in advocacy for customer-preferred narratives. Advisory work that confirms whatever the customer already believes is advisory work that does not earn its fee. Methodology before opinion. Every conclusion is derivable from a published framework, primary sources, and a defensible analytical chain. HampTex's proprietary Six Forces Framework assesses project risk across the six structural forces that determine whether a data center reaches energization. Senior team extension. Engagements are led by senior practitioners, not by junior staff under senior supervision. The customer engages with the people doing the work, and those people carry the analytical accountability. HampTex was founded by James Macedonio and Tony Timmons, who bring three decades each of senior operational experience across the infrastructure stack the AI data center buildout now requires.
