Since 1971, Hampton-Newport News Community Services Board has provided the highest quality of behavioral health services to residents of the cities of Hampton and Newport News, Virginia, offering a comprehensive array of programs for both children and adults living with mental illness, developmental disabilities, and/or substance use disorders. Vision: The Hampton-Newport News Community Services Board is the premier provider of behavioral health care and intellectual and developmental disability services. We are recognized throughout Virginia for our leadership, excellence and commitment to service. We earn this distinction by creating a community where people can find their own strength and become self-determining. Mission: To provide a comprehensive continuum of services and supports promoting prevention, recovery, and self-determination for people affected by mental illness, substance use, and intellectual and developmental disabilities and advancing the well-being of the communities we serve.
