In 2024, we proudly celebrated our 170th anniversary, reflecting on our longstanding commitment to our Members and our deep-rooted community values. We continue to evolve by combining traditional mutual values with modern, efficient services that ensure we meet the needs of today’s Members. As a trusted local building society, we are deeply committed to our community. In celebration of our 170th year, our colleagues volunteered a collective 170 days to support local causes. We proudly partner with and support local charities, including Alice, Dougie Mac Hospice, Glow, and YMCA, through ongoing charitable initiatives. Additionally, the Hanley at Home Fund, launched in partnership with the Community Foundation for Staffordshire, has already contributed £8,000 to local projects. We operate six branches across Staffordshire: Biddulph, Festival Park, Hanley City Centre, Longton, Newcastle-under-Lyme, and Stone, where we continue to provide dedicated, personalized service to all our Members.
