About Havitar

Havitar was created to help people communicate in vivid 3D. We work with owners, managers, public agencies, designers and other creative professionals to create 3D digital twins of interior and exterior areas to help with design, construction, sales, planning, surveying and storytelling. Our principal, Doug Higgins, is a licensed Part 107 commerial drone pilot, real estate broker, entrepreneur, and experienced property developer and asset manager. Havitar was created to address real problems he experienced in his 20 years in the corporate world including: finding a better way to communicate conceptual design concepts in three dimensions for owner approval; creating better workflows for construction sites (like punchlists that can be produced, tracked, and managed in three dimensions); helping hotels and resorts show potential guests and meeting planners how their event will look in an immersive environment; helping brokers help their clients visualize their future in any space; and creating measurable 3D models of places like model rooms that need to be measured and refined over time. The first time he used photogrammetry to create a 3D model from drone footage, he drove down an endless rabbit hole that has resulted in an excuse to buy some of the coolest toys in the business including: a Matrice 300 RTK drone (for LiDAR and ultra-high resolution photography); a Mavic 3 Enterprise RTK drone (for fast and accurate 3D mapping and modelling missions; a Mavic 3 Cine drone (for cinema quality videography); a Canon r5c (for ultra high-resolution terrestrial photogrammetry); Leica BLK2GO and Leica BLK360gen2 high-resolution imaging LiDAR scanners (for collecting ground level LiDAR data that can be matched to aerial drone LiDAR data); spherical cameras; survey poles; RTK geolocation devices for the cameras; advanced computers; and many other accessories.
