About HdL Companies
The HdL Companies began their legacy of service to public agencies as Hinderliter, de Llamas & Associates in 1983. The company's founder, Robert Hinderliter, a city manager and finance director, developed California's first comprehensive sales tax management program and secured legislation allowing for independent verification of state allocations. In 1992, HdL Coren & Cone (HdLCC) was created to oversee property tax services. HdL Software was formed in 1996 to provide software and services for business license and lodging taxes. Today, the HdL Companies provide a full assortment of public agency revenue management services, including sales tax, property tax, lodging tax, business license & tax, cannabis consulting, economic development and more.
