About Heart of the Valley YMCA
Since 1910, the Heart of the Valley YMCA in Huntsville has provided a wide array of programs and services for children of pre-school, youth, and teen ages, as well as adults and seniors, families, and individuals. Our programs focus on accomplishing our mission of by exemplifying the Y values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility in our areas of focus: Youth Development, Healthy Living and Social Responsibility. Our Mission To put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all. Working to ensure that no one is turned away from YMCA programs or services because of an inability to pay for them. Heart of the Valley YMCA serves more than 23,000 members through six locations: Southeast Family YMCA and Downtown Express YMCA in Huntsville, the Hogan Family YMCA in Madison, and the YMCA Downtown Early Childhood Education Center, YMCA Southeast Early Childhood Education Center and YMCA Northwest Early Childhood Education Center.
