The Heritage International Institute (HII) aims to protect and promote tangible and intangible cultural and natural heritage all over the world and under all circumstances, including during armed conflicts. By exploring innovative approaches and promoting policy responses for more effective heritage protection, both in times of war and peace, HII seeks to contribute to the promotion of peace and international security, the protection of human rights, and the advancement of sustainable development. HII also contributes to building cultural bridges between countries and peoples, celebrating cultural diversity, and sharing knowledge and experiences—leading to a deeper and more enriching understanding of the cultural world around us.
