HME Metal Europe is one of the largest producers of brass semi-finished products in Europe with its three brass plants in Berlin (DE), Boisthorel (FR) and Serravalle (IT). The three plants produce the widest range of brass rods, tubes, wires and profiles available on the market in close cooperation with our customers. A wide variety of standardized and innovative alloys are used. Together with the two copper tube plants in Menden (DE) and Barcelona (ES), the five sites form Hailiang Metal Europe (HME), which is managed by the headquarters in Berlin. The site in Menden is one of the largest copper tube production facilities in Europe. SANCO® tubes are the most widely installed bare copper installation tubes in Europe. Due to their excellent recyclability, copper and brass are particularly well suited for closed material cycles. Thus, processing residues are almost completely recycled and scrap forms a large part of the starting materials for new products. HME Metal Europe forms the European part of the Hailiang family. The Hailiang Group is not only the market leader in the Chinese copper tube and brass rod market, but also ranked 428th among the Global Fortune 500.
