HMGCC, founded in 1938 by the UK Government, acts as the engineering specialists at the heart of the UK’s national security. For over 80 years, we've been providing the expertise that keeps the country safe. We work with the national security community, UK government, academia, the defence sector, private industry partners and international allies to bring engineering ingenuity to the UK's national security mission, by creating tools and technologies that drive us ahead and help protect the nation. Our teams specialise in a variety of fields, from high-end manufacturing to AI and software development. We promote a creative approach to problem solving, and encourage our expert engineers to deliver high-tech products, often featuring design and engineering work of incredible complexity. While our products can be tiny in size, their importance to the security of the country is immense.
