Persistent autonomous subsea systems for critical infrastructure, energy and defence.
About HonuWorx
HonuWorx builds persistent autonomous subsea systems for critical infrastructure, energy and defence. Our systems remove the constraints of surface vessel-dependent operations, reducing cost, operational risk and personnel exposure while enabling long-endurance subsea capability controlled from shore. In contested environments, this replaces surface-visible assets with covert, low-visibility capability for missions including mine countermeasures, submarine search and the protection of critical national infrastructure. For energy operators, Loggerhead delivers inspection, repair and maintenance across subsea infrastructure, cutting cost, vessel dependency, weather downtime and offshore emissions while extending operational reach. Loggerhead is the world's first all-electric, long-endurance submersible ROV mothership — an uncrewed, autonomous platform that transits covertly from port, deploys an intervention-class ROV from depth, and is controlled from shore via HonuNet, our cloud-based mission control platform, delivering persistent subsea presence without a surface vessel. We demonstrated these world-first milestones off Vancouver and are now delivering a contract to extend the platform into deeper water, awarded through NATO's Rapid Adoption Service on behalf of Defence Research and Development Canada. HonuWorx is based in Aberdeen, working with NATO and allied defence, energy and infrastructure partners across the UK, North America and Europe.
