About Hope into Action UK
We believe that Homelessness ends in community, that's why our model invites investors to use the resources of wealth to provide houses which we, in partnership with local churches, turn into homes where lives can be transformed. Homelessness is caused by a blend of poverties. It's to do with a lack of resources, broken relationships and damaged identity. And we firmly believe that the church has a unique role to each of these problems. Our vision is to see Every UK church engaged in ending homelessness. Our mission is Empowering churches to take action to end homelessness through prayer, relationship and investment. Our story started in 2010 when our founders Ed and Rachel Walker bought the first Hope into Action house. 16 years later we operate in 38 locations with 134 homes.
