About Hounds for Heroes

Hounds for Heroes provides specially trained assistance dogs to physically disabled serving and former members of HM Armed Forces and the Emergency Services across the UK. Our assistance dogs support everyday independence, helping people carry out practical tasks and regain confidence in daily life. We support people who are currently serving, have left service, or have retired after long careers, whose physical disability can be assisted through a partnership with one of our trained dogs. Each dog is carefully trained to perform practical tasks that support daily life, while also providing companionship and reassurance. Behind every partnership is a dedicated community of supporters and volunteers, including Puppy Parents, who help raise and prepare our future assistance dogs.
