IBSA Italy is a privately owned pharmaceutical company and part of IBSA (Institut Biochimique SA). Established in 1992, the company has a head office in Lodi where the first plant was born, two manufacturing sites near Milan, three R&D labs, a branch office in Roma and a workforce of over 600 resources. These are just some of the figures that makes us a scientific economic and industrial leader in the Italian pharmaceutical sector. We contribute to the success of Italian industry by placing on the market products developed by Italian researchers and manufactured by technical staff and workers in Italy before being sold in 90 countries worldwide. Our product portfolio covers 10 different therapeutic areas and includes different therapeutic categories, such as prescription drugs, OTC medicines, medical devices and food supplements.
