IGNITE National
IGNITE is a nonpartisan nonprofit that empowers young women to unleash their political power.
About IGNITE National
We envision a world where the people closest to social problems have the power to solve them and are on a mission to help young women develop their political influence and strengthen their ability to navigate systems so they can transform the policies that affect their lives. Since our inception in 2010, IGNITE has reached more than 46,000 young women and gender-expansive youth across 231 college campuses and 70 high schools in 44 states. Through our programs, young people learn how to use their political power, navigate political systems, and shape the very policies that affect their lives. We train, mentor, and support them to advocate for policy change, run for office, and mobilize their peers to participate in the political process.
