SDU Department of Mathematics and Computer Science (IMADA) was founded in 1972. We have over 250 people working at IMADA. Everyday, we break new frontiers in Quantum Mathematics, Quantum Computing, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning, Cybersecurity, Cryptography, eScience, High-Performance Computing (HPC), Algorithms, Data Science, Statistics, Optimisation, Formal Methods, Programming Languages, Computational Science, Mathematical Analysis, Mathematical Modelling, Applied Mathematics and STEM Education. In recent years, IMADA has expanded beyond our strong base at SDU Odense. Today, our researchers and educators are also present at SDU Kolding and SDU Vejle. With activities across three SDU campuses, IMADA continues to grow – bringing research, education and collaboration closer to students, businesses and society across the region. We collaborate with the best researchers and industry around the world and we strive towards establishing partnerships, creating impact and providing the best education in a field that has never been more relevant and important than today.
