Imagine Mindfulness 2.0
Stress reduction that fits a real life. A 501(c)(3) rebuilding stress management for the people it prices and paces out.
About Imagine Mindfulness 2.0
MBSR is the most researched stress reduction program there is. Its standard format asks for 8 weeks, sessions of 2.5 hours, and up to an hour of practice a day. For the people carrying the most stress, that is out of reach. Im2 is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. We kept the substance and changed the shape. Beginnings, our 5 week program, runs 1 hour a week instead of 2.5, with daily practice measured in minutes rather than hours. The conceptual material moved into self-paced video so the live hour goes to practice and to people. Content is developed by senior certified MBSR instructors. Courses start at $8. The record behind it: 54 courses delivered since 2016 800+ people have completed one 80-85% average completion rate 6,000+ people taught by our instructors 24 guided practices, free to anyone at im2.info/practices 30+ volunteers keep the organization running: instructors, clinicians, accountants, designers, engineers and curriculum reviewers. That is what lets us hold the price where we hold it. Im2 programs are educational and wellness programs. They are not therapy and not a treatment, and we say so to every participant before they enrol. Research on MBSR is research on the method, not on our programs. Imagine Mindfulness is a 501(c)(3) public charity, EIN 99-0737834, exempt since January 2024. Donations are tax deductible under IRC Section 170.
