Immunexpress's product pipeline aims to address the overwhelming unmet clinical needs of sepsis patients, as well as clinicians, payers and healthcare systems. Unlike the traditional approach to sepsis diagnosis, SeptiCyte® quantifies the specific molecular biomarkers from a patient's immune system ('host response'). Biomarkers capture signals from a patient's immune system in response to infection. These biomarkers may hold the key to early detection of sepsis, as well as guiding the use and timing of drugs and other therapies.
