About INESC TEC
INESC TEC is the largest Research and Technology Organisation (RTO) in Portugal. As an Associate Laboratory, a Technology and Innovation Centre, and a non-profit public-interest institution, INESC TEC mobilises scientific knowledge to strengthen competitiveness, resilience, sustainability, and societal impact. With a diverse and talented community of nearly 600 researchers, over 400 PhD holders, and close to 400 PhD students representing more than 40 nationalities, INESC TEC brings together world-class expertise. Our dynamism is reflected in a €40M activity volume, 350+ ongoing projects, 6 portfolio spin-offs, and 50+ patent families.
