Europe's battery supply chain remains heavily dependent on China for processing active materials that make up a battery. Even material recovered from European battery waste often leave the region and get shipped overseas for processing before they can be turned back into usable, battery-grade material. Infiniti Recycling is changing that. Through direct recycling, we extract the active materials essential to battery production straight out of scrapped batteries, for the first time in the world, and turn them back into new batteries locally, without the need for further processing overseas. Full traceability, without the dependency, cost, and carbon footprint of shipping materials halfway around the world. Our technology is designed for maximum material recovery with minimal environmental impact. Rather than shredding batteries, which creates chemical problems that make everything downstream harder, we disassemble them instead, avoiding those problems at the source.
