About Institut Curie
Fondation reconnue d’utilité publique, l’Institut Curie associe l'un des plus grands centres de recherche européens en cancérologie et deux établissements hospitaliers de pointe. Fondé en 1909 sur un modèle conçu par Marie Curie et toujours d’avant-garde, «de la recherche fondamentale aux soins innovants», l’Institut Curie rassemble 3 000 chercheurs, médecins, soignants, techniciens et administratifs. Les soins L'Ensemble Hospitalier de l’Institut Curie est un centre de référence pour les cancers du sein, les tumeurs de l’œil et les cancers pédiatriques notamment. La recherche Pour faire progresser la prévention, le diagnostic et le traitement des cancers, biologistes, chimistes, physiciens, bio-informaticiens et médecins se mobilisent, dans une démarche multidisciplinaire de recherche pour lutter contre le cancer. Les recherches fondamentales, translationnelles et cliniques sont autant de moyens que l'Institut Curie déploie dans son Centre de Recherche, son département de Recherche translationnelle et son Ensemble Hospitalier pour faire progresser la cancérologie.
