About International Irradiation Association (iia)

The International Irradiation Association (iia) is the global trade association for irradiation technology. We promote the safe and beneficial use of gamma, e-beam, and X-ray technologies, which deliver social, economic, and environmental benefits around the world. The iia acts as a bridge between science, industry, and policymakers. We Communicate, Educate and Advocate on behalf of our members and the wider irradiation community, helping to raise awareness, share knowledge, and support the responsible growth of the industry. We enable collaboration, support innovation, represent industry interests, and help advance the commercial application of irradiation technologies. As an NGO recognized by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), the iia contributes to international dialogue and the development of industry standards.
