The Institute of Security Architecture United (ISAUnited) is an independent, practitioner-led Cybersecurity Standards Development Organization and the home of the Defensible 10 Standards. ISAUnited develops practical standards that help organizations design, implement, verify, and maintain more defensible cybersecurity programs. The Defensible 10 Standards provide a coordinated foundation across ten essential cybersecurity domains, connecting requirements with technical specifications, implementation guidance, verification and validation, and defensible evidence. Our standards are informed by industry research, practitioner experience, technical contributions, peer review, and an ongoing maintenance process. Through Parent Standards, Associate Standards, Evidence Workbooks, education, research, and professional participation, ISAUnited helps cyber teams translate cybersecurity expectations into structured, measurable work.
