About ISO/TC 174 Jewellery and precious metals

The ISO Technical Committee 174 (ISO/TC 174) is one of the 252 technical committee in charge of drafting and maintaining international standards in a specific field. TC 174 is active in the field of Jewellery and Precious Metals - a vast area comprising numerous technical and product standards. There are currently 18 published standards under the direct responsibility of ISO/TC 174, and 4 others being developed. The goal of this LinkedIn "company" page is to inform the jewellery and precious metal community of the new standards being published, and the ones being revised, allowing laboratories and companies to be up to date in their documentation. At ISO/TC 174, we have now 41 members comprising 18 countries as P-members (participating) and 23 as O-members (observing), from 4 continents.
