About ISSA Los Angeles

The Information Systems Security Association (ISSA)™ is the community of choice for international cybersecurity professionals dedicated to advancing individual growth, managing technology risk, and protecting critical information and infrastructure. ISSA members and award winners include many of the industry’s notable luminaries and represent a broad range of industries – from communications, education, healthcare, manufacturing, financial and consulting to IT, as well as federal, state, and local government departments and agencies. Through regional chapter meetings, conferences, networking events, and content, members tap into a wealth of shared knowledge and expertise. The Los Angeles chapter is the founding chapter of ISSA International, and its own 501(c)3). We welcome attendees to our monthly dinner meetings. The primary goal of ISSA is to promote Info Systems Security knowledge and management practices to ensure the availability, integrity, and confidentiality of organizational resources. ISSA-LA’s mission is to be the premier catalyst and information source in the Los Angeles community to improve the practice of information security. We offer regular monthly dinner meetings, an annual conference, including a CISO Forum and a Women in Security Forum, a Holiday Party given jointly with other IT-related organizations, and discounts on other InfoSec events in the greater LA area.
