About IT4Innovations National Supercomputing Center
IT4Innovations is a leading research, development, and innovation centre specialising in High-Performance Computing (HPC), High-Performance Data Analytics (HPDA), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Quantum Computing (QC) and their applications. We maintain strong international collaborations and employ more than 150 scientific, technical, and administrative staff. IT4Innovations currently operates two supercomputers – Karolina and Barbora – and is a member of the consortium managing LUMI, one of Europe’s most powerful supercomputers. In 2025, the VLQ quantum computer of the LUMI-Q consortium was installed at IT4Innovations.
