Now coordinated by the Luxembourg Institute of Socio-Economic Research (LISER), the Network leverages the collective expertise of its worldwide membership to provide rigorous, evidence-based insights that inform and shape effective policymaking. Strategically positioned at the heart of Europe, IZA@LISER serves as a vital bridge between academic research and practical policy application. It provides dynamic platforms for knowledge exchange, ensuring that cutting-edge, impartial research findings are accessible and actionable for policy practitioners and the general public globally. From its new institutional home in Luxembourg, IZA@LISER carries forward and amplifies this founding vision of the Network within a modern, global framework. Today, it stands as the leading international community in labor economics, comprising more than 2,000 scholars from over 60 countries, and continues to host the global knowledge platform World of Labour.
