About Junior Achievement of Wisconsin South Central Region
Junior Achievement is education for what’s next. As one of five regional districts within Junior Achievement of Wisconsin, the South Central Regional office partners with educators, businesses, and community volunteers to prepare students for what’s next in school, work, and life. Our volunteer‑led, K–12 programs build work‑readiness, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy skills through hands‑on, experiential learning. JA helps students achieve academically today and economically tomorrow, equipping them with the confidence and capability to navigate an ever‑changing world. Each year, more than 9,000 students across South Central and Southwestern Wisconsin participate in JA programs thanks to the dedication of 300+ volunteers. These mentors help students connect their learning to real opportunities and future career pathways. Junior Achievement accelerates economic mobility through education, empowering young people to develop practical skills, a sense of possibility, and a clearer understanding of how they can shape their own futures. Through this work, JA strengthens communities, contributes to workforce readiness, and supports long‑term regional economic growth.
