About JawSpace

JawSpace was born in 2022 when an engineer read a paper on TMD self-management and reached out to the lead author – a world-leading expert in orofacial pain. What began as a conversation turned into a collaboration, and eventually, a spin-in company with Newcastle University (UK). Since then, JawSpace has grown into a global platform helping people manage the everyday challenges of Temporomandibular Disorders (TMD) – from jaw pain and clicking to clenching, headaches, and limited mouth opening. Built with clinicians, researchers, and engineers, the JawSpace app gives users the tools to track symptoms, build supportive routines, and find real-time relief. Everyday users use JawSpace to better understand their condition and take control of their jaw health – one small, consistent action at a time. JawSpace is built on one solid founding principle: Grounded in science, built with empathy.
