In 1978, Eugene Jetts was on his way to buy a new home when his passion for pizza changed his plans. Instead, he signed a lease on a space in Sterling Heights, Michigan, and, alongside his brother and partner John, opened the first Jetts Party Shoppe & Pizzeria. That family-owned beginning became the foundation for what would grow into Jet’s Pizza®. More than 45 years later, Jet’s remains rooted in its Detroit beginnings, family values and commitment to making great pizza the right way. With more than 400 locations across the country, we’re still focused on the details that have always set us apart: dough made fresh daily, premium mozzarella hand-grated in our stores, quality ingredients and our signature Detroit-style crust, baked until it’s crisp, golden and caramelized around the edges. And while our famous Detroit-style pizza put us on the map, there’s more to Jet’s than square slices. From hand-tossed round, thin-crust and NY Style pizzas to fresh salads, breads, desserts and more, we’re always looking for ways to give our guests something worth coming back for.
