About Jua

Jua is a frontier AI lab building a foundation model for reality. We started with the atmosphere and set the global benchmark for weather and energy prediction, outperforming every incumbent including the institution that defined the field for forty years. Today, our agent Athena drives decisions on energy trading desks worldwide. Language models learned the digital world from text. The physical world is larger, older, and governed by different laws. It needs a different model. The last three years transformed everything we do on a screen. But the physical world is where most of our economy actually lives. It is where our energy comes from, where our families live, where the decisions that shape real life are made. AI has barely touched it. Our foundation model learns the dynamics that govern the physical world directly from data, and because physics is shared across domains, that understanding transfers: from the atmosphere to fluid dynamics to any system governed by the same fundamental laws. The last three years changed everything we do on a screen. The next three years will change everything else.
