About Keep AI Safe
Children are growing up alongside AI: as students, players, creators, and explorers. They're often the first to adopt new technology and the least equipped to recognize its risks. Keep AI Safe (KAIS) exists to make sure the AI shaping their world is built with their safety at the center, not as an afterthought. Our mission is to protect children from AI-enabled harm. We turn broad warnings into concrete safeguards: clearer standards for how AI interacts with minors, real protections against exploitation and manipulation, and accountability that holds developers to a higher bar where children are involved. KAIS brings together researchers, policymakers, technologists, and educators to move from principle to practice. The benefits of AI are real, and so are the risks to the youngest among us. We're here to make sure the people building this future are accountable to the children who will inherit it.
