About Kesher Shalom Projects

Through education around mental health, support, and advocacy, Kesher Shalom seeks to foster healing, resilience, and understanding within the diverse Jewish communities and beyond. The Kesher Shalom Projects, spearheaded by seasoned trauma therapists in response to the surge in antisemitism and the events of October 7th, aims to equip therapists, clergy, and educational leaders worldwide with essential tools to support Jewish clients during times of conflict. What began as a voluntary effort has evolved into a comprehensive initiative offering trauma-informed education, support through trainings, workshops, and facilitation of support groups, all geared towards empowering Jewish communities to heal, thrive, and build resilience. Born out of a collective desire to support Jewish therapists and clients in processing their experiences, Kesher Shalom Projects provides continuing education courses and workshops aimed at fostering healing and building resilience. A primary objective is to empower individuals within the Jewish community, while also offering psycho-education to non-Jewish allies, including mental health professionals, clergy, and educators. Through workshops and support groups, the initiative creates a space for healing, resilience, and cultural competency awareness in light of the effects of antisemitism.
