Founded in 2018 as a TUM spin-off, kiutra removes barriers in quantum cooling – delivering fast, easy access to kelvin and millikelvin temperatures, from first experiments to scaled-up quantum systems. With continuous Adiabatic Demagnetization Refrigeration (cADR), we have developed the alternative to helium-3-based dilution refrigeration. Helium-3 is one of the rarest resources on Earth. This creates a major supply risk for long-term scaling. cADR eliminates that dependency entirely.
