KGA (Kostow Greenwood Architects) designs spaces that help people perform better. Our many years of designing media and performing arts facilities—where people are expected to consistently achieve exceptional results, under high stress conditions—informs how we approach all of our work. People perform best in spaces where they feel comfortable, and the technical details like lighting, ergonomics and acoustics are tuned to enhance their activities. Our attention to the human side of architecture uplifts even the most technically complex and challenging work environments; we put people first. Our clients are surprised by how much we accomplish in our small studio in New York’s SoHo historic district. Working closely on every project, with collegiality and shared values we deliver large and complicated projects at the same standards found in large firms—and often, far better.
