Empowering and equipping first-gen professionals to rise to the top
About LatinaVIDA
LatinaVIDA (LV) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to preparing and propelling the next generation of first-generation professionals—across every industry and sector. In today’s fast-paced and competitive workplace, thriving as a first-gen leader requires more than talent alone. It requires a clear, intentional career strategy. That’s why LV delivers development rooted in our proven VIDA Methodology: Visibility, Identity, Determination, and Action—the framework that empowers emerging leaders to own their story, elevate their presence, and accelerate their career growth. Our signature programs—including Rise to the Top, PODER Leadership Academy, College Project RISE, and ERG Leadership Training—offer a uniquely powerful learning experience shaped by senior executives and informed by real pathways to the C-suite, corporate boards, and entrepreneurship. What sets us apart is our culturally-relevant approach. Every LV program is intentionally designed for the first-gen experience, honoring the strengths, values, and lived realities that traditional leadership programs often overlook. Through customized coaching, participants strengthen their executive presence, activate their authentic leadership voice, and develop a strategic career roadmap that positions them for long-term success. We advance our mission through corporate sponsorships, philanthropic partnerships, grants, and the generosity of donors who believe in unlocking the potential of first-generation talent.
