This could look like: - Feeling angry, hurt, or ashamed about a painful experience (i.e. unfair criticism, faulty blame, or public humiliation) with a boss/colleague/client that undermines your confidence. - Feeling conflicted about what you WANT to do vs. what you feel like you SHOULD do; fear of being judged or ostracized for pursuing your true professional desires. - Feeling inferior or insecure based on your race, ethnicity, sex, age, religion, or other demographic category. - Feeling like you’re betraying your familial or cultural values if you go against their oft-repeated advice. We will work through these together to help you achieve clarity, confidence, and peace in your career. I started my business Launched by Linda 15 years ago editing resumes. AI now does that better, faster, and cheaper than many career coaches can. I still love helping people in their careers so I’ve been thinking about what unique HUMAN value I can provide not only better than technological tools can, but that no digital technology can provide. Thinking back on my many clients through the years, I finally started connecting the dots. The most productive sessions with clients were ones where we uncovered a subconscious emotional barrier that was impeding their progress. We’d be working on concrete career tasks or strategies (i.e. exploring job options, networking, refining LinkedIn/resume, etc.), but once I helped them recognize and process the invisible barrier, it was like filling a pothole on a road and removing the traffic cones - they were able to move forward so much more smoothly, quickly, and confidently!
