About: LaunchWorks is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing STEM workforce development through experiential innovation. A spin-off from the Queen City Robotics Alliance, LaunchWorks builds on years of robotics education to help participants apply technical and creative problem-solving skills in emerging fields such as artificial intelligence, digital technology, and innovation entrepreneurship. Starting with hosting the NASA International Space Apps Challenge Charlotte Hackathon, LaunchWorks delivers workshops, mentorship, and incubator-style programs that guide participants from curiosity to capability. By connecting emerging talent with small and mid-sized businesses for digital and technical projects, LaunchWorks targets bridging learning and opportunity, creating a sustainable ecosystem where innovation drives community and economic growth.
