Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD), Facilities Services Division (FSD) oversees the delivery of the District’s school construction bond programs; the maintenance and operations of its schools; the strategic use of existing assets; and master planning for future capital projects. Since the launch of the District’s $41.8 billion bond program, FSD has completed more than 25,000 school modernization projects, delivering upgraded facilities that support improved learning environments for students. Significant work remains underway: more than 700 Board of Education-approved projects, valued at $4.7 billion, are in pre-construction, while more than 220 projects, valued at $4.6 billion, are currently under construction. During the 2025–26 school year, LAUSD Facilities completed 365 bond-funded projects valued at $787 million, delivering major improvements at schools across the District. The Board also approved 378 new projects this year, representing more than $810 million in future investments and helping ensure this important work continues for years to come.
