About Leadership Monterey County

Leadership Monterey County is a 10-month program (February–November) designed to cultivate informed, engaged leaders who shape the future of our community. Through in-depth sessions on key local issues, participants gain a broad understanding of regional challenges, connect with influential leaders, and build a diverse professional network. ​ Graduates serve in leadership roles across nonprofits, businesses, and government, driving positive change throughout Monterey County. Established in 2018, our program builds on over 30 years of successful leadership initiatives, uniting the entire county to foster collaboration and impact.
