About LeMay Center for Doctrine Development and Education
The LeMay Center is the principal organization for developing and assessing Air Force doctrine, advocating airpower through Air Force Doctrine, wargaming, and lessons learned in Joint & multinational arenas. The Air Force lead for tactical, operational, and strategic lessons learned. Integrates lessons learned and doctrinal concepts into the Air Force Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures and wargames. Executes operational and strategic wargames for the Air Force, Air University, and partner nations. The LeMay Center operates as the Air University Intelligence Office, serving as the Special Security Office (SSO) as well as the Senior Intelligence Officer for AU. The center also operates the Joint Integration Directorate, integrating plans, curriculum, wargaming, doctrine development, and subject matter expertise across all services.
